1. Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing actuallife.me, actuallifegame.com, any Actual Life web or mobile app, or by buying our book, board game, or Keeper subscription, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Who We Are

"Actual Life", "we", "our", or "us" refers to Actualizentral Co., Ltd., a company registered in Thailand, with its office at 998/28 Thonglor Road, Klongton Neau, Wattana, Bangkok 10110, Thailand.

3. Eligibility

Actual Life is intended for adults aged 18 or older. In Thailand, the age of majority is 20 under the Civil and Commercial Code; users aged 18–19 may use Actual Life with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using our services you represent that you meet this age requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. What We Offer

The digital game

The Actual Life digital game is free to play on actuallifegame.com. It is a card-based self-reflection experience built to help you think about life decisions. Your game progress is stored locally in your browser and is not sent to us unless you explicitly create an account.

The board game

A physical board game available for purchase and shipment (currently Thailand-only at launch). Sold while supplies last. See Section 6 for payment, shipping, and refund terms.

The book

The Actual Life book is sold through Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing. Purchases are governed by Amazon's own terms. We are the author and publisher; Amazon handles delivery, payment, and fulfillment.

Keeper coaching (coming soon)

Keeper is an AI-assisted coaching subscription that helps you pursue aspirations and life goals. Keeper is not a medical, therapy, psychological, financial, or legal service. See Section 7.

5. Accounts

You do not need an account to play the digital game. An account is required for Keeper and optional for cross-device game progress. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account. You may close your account at any time by emailing ask.actuallife@gmail.com.

6. Payments, Shipping & Refunds

Payment

All payments for the board game and Keeper subscription are processed by Stripe, certified PCI-DSS Level 1. We do not store your card details. Prices are displayed in Thai Baht (THB) or the currency shown at checkout and include any applicable VAT where required by Thai law.

Shipping (board game)

Board games ship from Bangkok via local carriers (Thailand Post, Kerry Express, Flash, or equivalent). Estimated delivery is 3–7 business days within Thailand. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery. You are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address.

Refunds (board game)

• Damaged or defective on arrival: contact us within 7 days of receipt with photos. We will send a replacement or issue a full refund.
• Wrong item shipped: we will arrange return and send the correct item at our cost.
• Change of mind: unopened board games may be returned within 14 days of delivery for a refund, minus shipping, if the seal and packaging are intact.
• Refunds are issued via the original payment method within 7–14 business days after inspection.

Book refunds

Books purchased via Amazon are refunded under Amazon's own refund policy. We are unable to refund book purchases directly.

7. Keeper Subscription

Keeper is a recurring subscription billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Specific features, pricing, and billing cycle are shown at checkout.

• Free trial: if offered, you will be charged at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before it ends.
• Cancellation: you may cancel at any time from your account page or by emailing support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle; we do not refund the unused portion of a paid period unless required by Thai consumer protection law.
• Price changes: we will notify you at least 14 days in advance of any price change and give you the option to cancel before it takes effect.
• Keeper is not medical, therapy, financial, or legal advice. If you are in crisis or need clinical support, contact a licensed professional or, in Thailand, the Department of Mental Health hotline 1323.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on Actual Life — including the game design, card text, book manuscript, illustrations, code, and branding — is owned by Actualizentral Co., Ltd. and is protected by Thai and international copyright and trademark law. The "ACTUAL LIFE" wordmark, the stylized gold serif typography, the brain-and-graduation-cap logo, the "ACTUALIZENTRAL" company mark, and the "DESIGN YOUR LIFE" tagline are registered trademarks of Actualizentral Co., Ltd.

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the digital game and Keeper for your own non-commercial purposes. You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, redistribute, or republish any part of the game content, book, or Keeper output.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or create derivative works from our code or card content.
• Use our name, logo, or branding to promote a competing product or to imply endorsement.
• Use any automated system (including AI scrapers) to harvest content from our services without written permission.
• Sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the content or your license.

9. Acceptable Use

When using Actual Life, you agree you will not:

• Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems, or breach our security without authorization.
• Interfere with service availability, upload malware, or attempt denial-of-service attacks.
• Use the service to harass, impersonate others, or engage in unlawful activity.
• Submit content that is illegal, defamatory, infringes others' rights, or violates Thailand's Computer Crime Act B.E. 2560 (2017) as amended.
• Abuse refund or trial policies, use stolen payment methods, or commit fraud.

We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of this section.

10. Your Content (Keeper, Community, Feedback)

You retain ownership of any content you submit (your Keeper entries, goals, messages, community-map location, or feedback). By submitting content, you grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to use that content solely to operate and improve the service you asked for — for example, running the coaching, displaying your country on the community map if you opted in, and responding to your messages.

We will not sell your content, use it in marketing without your explicit consent, or use it to train third-party AI models. See our Privacy Policy for details.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may implement them in the service without obligation to you.

11. Disclaimers

Entertainment and self-reflection only. Actual Life — the digital game, book, board game, and Keeper — is offered for personal entertainment, reflection, and self-development. It is not a substitute for medical, mental-health, therapy, financial, tax, investment, or legal advice. You should consult a qualified licensed professional for any serious decision affecting your health, finances, safety, or legal rights.

Provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by Thai law, Actual Life is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability.

AI-generated content. Keeper uses AI. AI can produce inaccurate or unexpected output. Always apply your own judgment before acting on AI suggestions.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Thai law, Actualizentral Co., Ltd. and its directors, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages — including loss of profit, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses — arising out of or related to your use of Actual Life.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or THB 1,000 for free services, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by Thai law — including liability for gross negligence, fraud, or wilful misconduct.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Actualizentral Co., Ltd. from any third-party claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the service, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

14. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access, delete your account, or stop providing all or part of the service at any time, with or without notice, if: (a) you breach these Terms, (b) we are required to do so by law, or (c) providing the service is no longer commercially viable. If we terminate your paid subscription without cause, we will refund the unused, prepaid portion.

Sections 8 (IP), 10 (Feedback license), 11 (Disclaimers), 12 (Liability), 13 (Indemnity), and 15 (Governing law) survive termination.

15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

Informal resolution first. If you have a concern, please email ask.actuallife@gmail.com. We will try in good faith to resolve the matter within 30 days.

Courts. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangkok, Thailand, except where Thai consumer protection law grants you additional rights that cannot be waived.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make a material change, we will post the new version here and update the "Last updated" date. If the change is significant, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before it takes effect. Your continued use of Actual Life after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.
